Leon Stille is an energy expert with a background in energy sciences (MSc and BSc) and a PhD candidate in energy policy. He runs his own company, New Energy Institute, and serves as the Manager of Education and Partnerships at Impact Hydrogen and Business Development Director at Hovyu. He teaches at several institutions, including Mines de Nancy, Luiss School of management and NCOI.

Leon has extensive experience in project development for hydrogen, CCUS, biomethane, geothermal, wind, and solar energy. He has held commercial roles at Alliander and Plug Power and worked with TNO and New Energy Business School. Leon holds three patents and advises organizations such as the European Biogas Association and Hydrogen Europe.

I am a passionate and experienced energy expert and educator, with over 15 years of international experience in various roles in the traditional and renewable energy sector. With a strong track record of generating new business opportunities, developing and marketing complex technological solutions, and establishing and maintaining strategic partnerships and networks across different regions and sectors.

My work has brought me across various geographies in Europe, India, North America, Brazil, and East Africa. On projects ranging from bioenergy, cooling, and water purification, to hydrogen, electrification, and carbon capture and utilization. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and insights as a key lecturer, speaker, and moderator at conferences, events, business schools, and universities. I am entrepreneurial, collaborative, and driven by innovation and impact.
